Thanksgiving!

Hello AVID class. Congratulations on donating the most cans for the AVID Club Food Drive. The food was delievered Tuesday morning to St. Mary's Homeless Shelter. Your donations were in the community that day, helping many families this Thanksgiving. I have a lot to be thankful for and I hope you do too. Enjoy this time with family and see you all back at school Monday!

HS/College Visits to NHHS

This week there are several colleges and other NC schools coming to NHHS. This is your opportunity to meet counselors and ask questions regarding admission!
Tuesday Nov. 17th: Winston-Salem State University will be in the cafeteria duing lunch!
Wednesday Nov. 18th: A representative from the North Carolina School of Science and Mathematics will be on campus in the conference room in office 216 at 1:00 p.m. to meet with 10th grade students interested in attending the school for their junior and senior years. Please ask your third block teacher for a pass to meet with Ms. Gaddy for about 30 minutes on Wednesday. (during your lunch would be best)
