I am asking for your assistance in participating and encouraging your parents/guardians to participate. This survey is a national project from Speak Up, designed to gather feedback on how technology is used at school and at home. Input is needed from all stakeholders: students, parents, teachers and administrators
This is an optional survey that will take approximately ten minutes to complete.

2. Choose your role
3. Select your state
4. Type in your school name
5. Click on Find School
6. Click on your school from the list
7. Select grade level
8. Type in the secret word which is nhcs
9. Click on Log-in
10. Take the survey

Thanksgiving!

Hello AVID class. Congratulations on donating the most cans for the AVID Club Food Drive. The food was delievered Tuesday morning to St. Mary's Homeless Shelter. Your donations were in the community that day, helping many families this Thanksgiving. I have a lot to be thankful for and I hope you do too. Enjoy this time with family and see you all back at school Monday!

A representative from the Admissions Office at Peace College will be in the conference room in office 216 at 11:40 today and should be there throughout the lunch period.

This weekend gather up some food for the homeless!

HS/College Visits to NHHS

This week there are several colleges and other NC schools coming to NHHS. This is your opportunity to meet counselors and ask questions regarding admission!

Tuesday Nov. 17th: Winston-Salem State University will be in the cafeteria duing lunch!

Wednesday Nov. 18th: A representative from the North Carolina School of Science and Mathematics will be on campus in the conference room in office 216 at 1:00 p.m. to meet with 10th grade students interested in attending the school for their junior and senior years. Please ask your third block teacher for a pass to meet with Ms. Gaddy for about 30 minutes on Wednesday. (during your lunch would be best)
