Man that 30min test in biology had some difficult question most of them i was like WHAT IN THE WORLD ARE THEY TALKING ABOUT but it was pretty cool to see what most 10th graders in the world should know but i advise all the students in our 10th grade avid class to take this test it really opens your eyes to what you should know at this point of time.
ReplyDeleteOMG! That website is so interesting.As I read some of the questions I became overwhelmed by the vocabulary of the question rather than the answer.After have taken two of the tests I found myself questioning my intelligence compared to others.

The documentry seemed to be slightly ironic to me, as for that the entire time, the American education was veiwed as the least sucessful, tet only the two American students got into their first choice colleges. i suppose it's something to ponder.

ReplyDeleteIt was pretty intresting. I tried the math, which I did really bad on, and the English, which was actually easy. I know we may be slacking off on our education system, but we aren't that far off from being well educated.
ReplyDeleteOk wow. So this 2mminutes article is crazy like. He is just playin America, like i understan we may not be on th same levels as India and China. But we do work hard like all they do is go to school all day we Go to school, have jobs, and play sport. Some of us even volunteer at certain places to be helpful. But whatever that dude is lame. Anyways lol I took 1 look at that 3rd world challenge and my mouth just dropped. I couldn't even take it, but it's ok I bet alots other could.
ReplyDeletewooow i did bad :( pero no ahi problema. those question were harder then i expected. mrs. ashley can u teach me mas porfas!!!!!!!! that prof. at harvard has a point about china and ther countries that are sonsidered to be 3rd world countries.i noe that i spend to much time on things that wont ever do me anygood. pero pues vivendo la viva right. see u some day this week:P
ReplyDeleteThe documentary along with the article was not a surprise to me at all! The US schools are not focused and are becoming lazier and lazier each and every year. The American society needs to step it up (our generation) when it come to school.
ReplyDeleteI really enjoyed watching the 2 million minute video;it gave me lots of new information. It was very funny how the US is on the bottom in everything, America need to step their game up very quickly especially when it comes to school.
ReplyDeletei like that exam cuz i did ok that show how smart other countries are compared to us in the USA i only did good in Math and English and bio.

ReplyDeleteIt took me a while to try to figure out every single one of he quetions out and still most of them I didnt even know how to start. it make me realixe how little we know compared to other people around the word. it makes me feel very dumb and shows me how much more prepration I still need for the real world.
