Volunteering!

Hello AVID Juniors! This Friday, September 3rd begins the official volunteer time for your class!
Many of you will be going to Williston (room 131)to help students organize, learn test-taking skills, understand and implement review/study strategies, and even tutor in subject specific areas!
I will be speaking with the 14 students who will be helping in this arena!
On-campus volunteers will be helping teachers all over the school, especially in-need areas like the 1st floor!
If you are still looking for places OFF campus to volunteer, contact:
The Wilmington Children's Museum: (910) 254-3534 **downtown
The WIRE: 343-1901
OR anywhere else you would like--but remember, I must approve your location prior to starting!
**You must have at least 40 hours per semester. I will be checking logged hours the week of September 13th. Good luck and have fun helping others!
